On Oct. 28, the Walbridge Park Shelter House in Toledo became a gathering place for Democrats eager to connect, share ideas and fundraise for democratic candidates. The fall spaghetti dinner brought together party veterans and newcomers alike, filling the room with conversation, strategy and a sense of shared purpose.

I want to thank the following podcast guests for dropping by my makeshift recording booth and sharing their views: South Toledo Democratic Club president John Irish; new city councilman Matt Cherry; city councilwoman Dr. Brittany Jones; state central committee man Tom Galloway; city council candidate Blair Johnson; Toledo Clerk of Courts Bernie Quilter; and Bill Tucholski.

Bernie Quilter is the longest-serving Lucas County Clerk of Courts in its history. Hear his story on this episode! (Photo/Lori King)
